Local Businesses & Trades, done right.

The local-search system that turns "near me" searches into booked jobs.

Overview

Why we built a practice for Local Businesses.

Most local businesses are over-charged for marketing and under-served by it. The owner pays for a fancy website nobody finds, a quarterly newsletter nobody opens, and an Instagram account managed by their nephew. Meanwhile, the competitor down the road who appears first in Google Maps is booking solid.

We focus on the small number of things that actually move local: Google Business Profile, a website built to be found, a review pipeline that runs itself, a booking flow that doesn't lose the lead, and a paid budget proportional to your service area.

What we usually find

The pain points that bring teams to us.

Five patterns we see again and again in this sector. If two or more sound like your team, we should talk.

Competitor with worse reviews ranks higher than you in Google Maps.
New customers come from word-of-mouth and you can't turn the dial up.
Website was built by someone who is no longer answering emails.
Online reviews are stuck in single digits and growing one per quarter.
Booking happens by phone, the phone goes to voicemail, the lead disappears.

Frequently asked

Quick answers.

Specific to this sector. If your question isn't here, ask us directly →

We're a one-person trade business. Are you too big for us?

No. Roughly half of our local engagements are sole proprietors and 2-3 person operations. The Local Starter tier was built specifically for owner-operators.

Do we own the website?

Your call. Custom builds: you get the source code. Managed website-builder plan: we maintain the platform and you own your domain and content. Most local businesses choose the managed plan because they don't want to deal with hosting; some prefer to own the code outright.

What if we serve multiple cities? Will Google penalise duplicate location pages?

No, if it is done right. We build per-service-area pages with genuinely different content (local landmarks, service variations, neighbourhood references), proper schema, and internal linking that helps Google understand the structure.
