Our commitment
Dave Groups Inc, operating MarketingHub.ca, is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We work to ensure that our website conforms to Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, the international standard adopted by the AODA Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation and the Accessible Canada Regulations.
Conformance status
MarketingHub.ca is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to identify and remediate any remaining barriers.
We aim to achieve and maintain full Level AA conformance and selectively meet Level AAA criteria where practical.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML5 throughout, with proper landmarks (
header, nav, main, footer) and oneh1per page - "Skip to content" link on every page (visible on keyboard focus)
- Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements
- Form fields with associated
<label>elements, required-field marking, and accessible error messages - Sufficient colour contrast for body text and interactive controls (4.5:1 minimum)
altattributes on all meaningful images; decorative images markedalt=""oraria-hidden="true"- Mobile-responsive layout that supports text zoom up to 200% without loss of content
- Keyboard-operable navigation (no mouse-only interactions)
- ARIA labels on icon-only buttons and social links
- Respect for the
prefers-reduced-motionsystem setting; non-essential animation is disabled when requested - Language declared on every page (
lang="en-CA"); French alternate available on request - Cookie banner that is keyboard-operable, focus-trapped while open, and dismissible via the Esc key
Known limitations
Despite our best efforts, the following items are known limitations we are working to address:
- Some interactive visual elements (e.g. the rotating "Industry Intel" flashcards on the homepage) provide animation that some screen-readers may not narrate optimally. A reduced-motion alternative is enabled when the visitor's OS signals
prefers-reduced-motion. - A small number of older portfolio images may not yet carry an extended
altdescription. Alternate descriptions are available on request. - Embedded third-party content (e.g. Google reviews, Lottie animations) is partially outside our direct control. Where possible, we choose providers whose components meet WCAG 2.1 AA; otherwise, we present accessible alternatives.
Compatibility
MarketingHub.ca is designed to be compatible with the following:
- Recent versions of major browsers: Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari
- Major operating systems: Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, ChromeOS
- Assistive technologies: NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), TalkBack (Android), Dragon NaturallySpeaking, screen magnifiers and keyboard-only navigation
The website may not display optimally in Internet Explorer or other browsers no longer supported by their vendors.
Assessment approach
We assess the accessibility of MarketingHub.ca through:
- Automated testing on every release (axe-core, Lighthouse, WAVE)
- Manual testing with keyboard-only and screen-reader walkthroughs of high-traffic pages
- User feedback received through the accessibility contact route below
- Annual external review by a qualified accessibility consultant (scheduled annually starting Q3 2026)
AODA, Accessible Canada Act & ADA Title III compliance
As an Ontario business, Dave Groups Inc is subject to the AODA Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (O. Reg. 191/11). Specifically:
- Information and Communications Standard: we work to make our website and web content conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
- Customer Service Standard: we welcome feedback in any format and respond in a format that meets the requester's needs.
- Employment Standard: in our role as an employer, we accommodate employees with disabilities in their workplace.
- Multi-year accessibility plan: a written plan is maintained internally and provided in accessible format on request.
For organizations subject to the federal Accessible Canada Act (S.C. 2019, c. 10), our website also aims to align with the requirements of the Accessible Canada Regulations on information and communication technologies.
United States — ADA Title III: we aim to make our website usable by visitors in the United States protected by Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (42 U.S.C. § 12181 et seq.). US federal courts and the Department of Justice generally treat WCAG 2.1 Level AA as the appropriate technical standard for web accessibility; that is the standard we target.

Where a supplier cannot demonstrate this, we either accept the limitation in writing or substitute an alternative.
