What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website. Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage, pixels and SDKs. Together we call them "tracking technologies".
Cookies can be first-party (set by us) or third-party (set by services we use, e.g. analytics or video embeds). They can also be session (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent (kept for a defined period).
Categories & consent
We classify cookies into four categories. Only "Strictly necessary" cookies are set by default. All other categories require your opt-in consent via our cookie banner. You can change your preferences at any time.
1. Strictly necessary ALWAYS ON
Required to deliver the website. Cannot be turned off. No consent needed (PIPEDA Principle 3 exception for service delivery; Law 25 Section 8.1 second paragraph).
2. Preferences OPT-IN
Remember choices you make (language, region, UI settings).
3. Analytics OPT-IN
Help us measure traffic and improve the site, in aggregate.
4. Marketing & advertising OPT-IN
Used to measure ad effectiveness and to retarget visitors who have shown interest. For US residents in states with comprehensive privacy laws (California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas and others), this category is the consent control for what those laws call "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Opting out here is your "Do Not Sell or Share" choice. We currently set no marketing cookies on this site. If we add any in future, they will be listed here and only set after your express consent. Your Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal, where sent, is honoured as a withdrawal of consent for this category.

Cookies from third-party content
If we embed third-party content (YouTube video, social-media widget, map), that provider may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. We only embed third-party content after you have consented to the relevant category. Until then, you will see a click-to-load placeholder.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our cookie usage changes. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Material changes require fresh consent.
